oh this is so cool

hi people! i've been absent from the welcoming world of internet connectivity lately because i've been paddling my buns off for the Eddy Flower Vertical Challenge.

but i did see something cool today. well, several things actually... like an eagle 2m away from my boat.... but that's not what i wanted to share.

so you can sell or send your hard to recycle metallicized plastic trash (for me, this is mostly candy bar wrappers with the occasional energy bar package in there). they sell it to other people who make things like this:



or they have it recycled. i think there's even something where you can get paid for what you send and/or have the proceeds go to a charity. it's called TerraCycle. learn it, use it, love it.

definitely a good find for today, along with that eagle on Bull Run. life is alright this week!
