oh sheesh. i've been back in the U.S. for two weeks now, staring down a stay of two years for grad school.
in the spirit of thinking positive, i'm going to share with you one thing about U.S. domestic living that should be a practice world-wide. ready?
here in my homeland, when you have outgoing mail with stamps, you can put in in your mailbox (the one right outside your door) and the mail guy will pick it up for you when he drops off your daily mail. sounds simple, i know, but i have yet to visit any other country where this is the norm. canada comes close, but suburban mailbox systems are vastly different.
doesn't that just make sense? i think so too. it's a positive start as we try to improve this big crack-hole of 300 million people. never mind the postal system is bankrupt.
alright, just some verbal drabble to break up the day.
